Form Slip is primarily used as a general purpose release agent on construction sites. A great solution as a multi purpose release agent on any construction site, Safe Form Slip is ideal for application to a wide range of surfaces such as timber, steel or fibreglass.
Highly stable during concrete placement, it’s very economical, easy to apply through conventional spray equipment & does not stain or contaminate the finished concrete surface.
Concentrated for better value, it can be applied easily using standard spray equipment and won’t stain the finished surface.
Form Slip is supplied ready to use, but can be diluted at up to 3:1. Surfaces to be coated should be clean & free from grease, dirt or old concrete. The optimum application method is by conventional spray equipment, however a brush or roller can also be used.
Apply Form Slip at the stated coverage rates to obtain a thin, even film over the entire surface of the mould or formwork. Any excess liquid remaining on the surface after application should be mopped off. Allow 1 - 3 hours to dry before pouring concrete.
NOTE: Treated formwork should not be left exposed to heavy weathering or dust accumulation for long periods, maximum 7 days depending on conditions. New unsealed timber will initially require 2 - 3 coats of Safe Form Slip due to the porosity of the timber. Only a thin film of the product is required to ensure maximum performance. Excess application may cause staining.
